![]() Scattered throughout the cemetery are the graves of soldiers beginning with the Revolutionary War, professors, politicians, musicians, scientists, business executives, writers, a Nobel Laureate, Pulitzer Prize winners as well as those who have called the Princeton area home. The cemetery is the final resting place for a President and a Vice President of the United States, most of the Presidents of the College of New Jersey/Princeton University and the Princeton Theological Seminary. Established in 1757, the Princeton Cemetery is owned and operated by the Nassau Presbyterian Church. We walked off about 1/100th of lunch strolling through Princeton Cemetery. And I should probably eat lettuce only for the next 47 days. We knew we had to hit it! I went with the Sanchez – chicken cutlet, mozzarella sticks, french fries and sanchez sause. ![]() Our next stop was lunch at Hoagie Haven – a family run business serving “the best hoagies in the world” for over four decades! When we walked up and down Nassau Street last night, we noted there was a steady stream of people in and out and people lining sidewalk benches with their hoagies. Thunder won two out of their three games and we loved cheering on this kid! Hoagie HavenĮveryone was hot, sticky and ravenous after the game so we popped back in the hotel for showers and to cool off. We did jam filled crepes and homemade nutella filled crepes and decided we don’t think we could possibly try anything else tomorrow – they were that good! I love local gems and love the delicious mission of this one: a celebration of our local, regional farms wrapped in a crêpe with an ever-changing menu that highlights the very best local ingredients at their peak of freshness.
